PILOTS

Steve Cirino "FLYBOY" President/Pilot

Steve Cirino/ President, I started flying during my senior year in high school, the following year I received my Private Pilots License and began my flying career. During the next two years I would hold down a full time job working line service for Ohio Aviation Company based at Cuyahoga County Airport on Cleveland’s east side. During the day I learned to fly and at night I cleaned aircraft for the FBO. Here I acquired the skills of buffing and polishing both aircraft exterior finishes and bright work. After completing my flight training I went on to fly various corporate aircraft, including an ATP in a Cessna Citation on my twenty third birthday (I actually passed the test on my twenty second birthday and received a letter of competency ) “what a kick”. Somewhere along the way I received my Bachelors of Science in  Aerospace from Embry-Riddle University and picked up some other ratings so that I could fly and instruct in helicopters/instruments and twin engine aircraft. At the age of thirty I was lucky enough to be the last pilot hired at the famous “Airline with a Smile” Pacific Southwest Airlines in San Diego, California. I started in the BAE 146 aircraft. After “PSA” merged with USAIR I was transferred to Pittsburg, Pa where I spent the following eighteen years flying the DC9/MD80, 737-200/300. I was very lucky to have flown with many wonderful and talented pilots during the close of the golden age of this industry. Rocky Mountain has allowed me to return to my roots in General and Corporate Aviation and find the fun again.

Chris Homolka Pilot

The lure of flying brought Chris to the Mesa Pilot Development Program in 1997. Wanting to help others, learn, he began teaching at the Farmington, NM based program in 2000. In 2004, he had worked into the Assistant Chief Instructor position until 2007. Later that year, he was given the opportunity to teach at the Eclipse Customer Training Center where he helped operators with type training and checkride preparation. New to Ohio, he is pleased to be a part of the Rocky Mountain Sport Jets family. Chris continually strives for professionalism and attention to safety, detail, and highest level of customer service. In his spare time, he enjoys his family, live music, art and motorcycles.

Peter Theodosian Pilot

Peter's love of flight began at the tender age of 5, when he asked Santa for a real airplane for Christmas (and he's been asking ever since!). He received his private pilot certificate at 19 years old flying an American Yankee. While flying for fun, Peter discovered sailing and Greek and Italian cooking. With 4400 hrs (600 hrs in sailplanes), Peter's love for flight has never wavered. Starting in 1998, his flight career has encompassed: flying antique aircraft, soaring, towing sailplanes and banners, traffic / US Forestry / MDNR patrols, Part 135 passenger / freight, and instructing. Peter has been married 19 years to a patient and loving wife who has given her full support to Peter's endeavors.

Dave Marcinski Pilot

David is a native of South Euclid, Ohio and a graduate of Charles F. Brush High School. After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University, he worked as a design engineer with Mayfran International for two years. He then joined the U.S. Navy. After logging 40 hours worth of flying lessons in a Cessna 152 at Cuyahoga County Airport before shipping off to Officer Candidate School, he found attendance at naval flight school in Corpus Christi, Texas and Meridian, Miss. still painful but bearable. David was winged as a Naval Aviator iin April 2000 and during his ten-year naval aviation career, was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to fly various jjet and turboprop military aircraft. David is a drilling Naval Reservist and when he is not flying for Rocky Mountain Sport Jets, plans to continue a part-time military flying career through an inter-service transfer to a local Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard unit. He will graduate with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Touro University this year.

Bob Metelko Pilot

Bob CFII learned to fly in 1961 in a Taylorcraft.  Since then he's logged over 17,000 hours of flight time in over 50 different aircraft and still never turns down a chance to fly.  He has a BA in Finance from Baldwin Wallace and a MBA from Case Western Reserve.  Bob flew professionally for over 30 years before starting his own computer networking company.  Today he splits his time between his computer company, crewing an Eclipse with his daughter, instructing, and flying for fun.  Sometimes his wife, Suzanne, gets a minute or two too.

Jennifer Metelko Pilot

Jennifer obtained her pilots license when she was 19 under the instruction of her dad.  She attended Baldwin Wallace College and received a BA in Economics.  After graduation she spent the summer rock-climbing across the US and then moved to France for 2 years where she learned the art of cooking, eating cheese, and butchering the French language. This is her first job as a pilot and she loves flying the Eclipse. She also enjoys flying her trusty Beech Super-Musketeer, although she often feels that it doesn't feel so super after flying the Eclipse. Jennifer has an obvious addiction to rock climbing and can be found climbing every second she's not flying.
