First Officer Training
Program Objective: To train and qualify pilots and non pilots to serve as co-pilots and / or support pilots in the Eclipse 500 Jet.
The professionals at Rocky Mountain continue to bring innovation into the cockpit of the world’s first Very Light Jet. We take the statement “The most important part of a jet aircraft is a properly trained pilot” one step further by adding a crew. By training the right seat occupant in crew procedures and aircraft operation, safety and comfort is enhanced markedly. The occupant could be either a pilot or non-pilot depending on the specific operation involved.
Some of the Benefits are:
- Increased observation on the flight deck, “The two heads are better than one concept” decreases the possibility of communication breakdowns. This also adds another level of protection against checklist or radio transmission errors.
- The two pilots work as a team in normal, abnormal and emergency operating conditions.
- Lower insurance rates.
- Compliance with corporate and board member safety guidelines and recommendations.
