September 10, 2007, Rocky Mountain Sport Jets first to receive application certification of 3M Protective film for the Eclipse Aviation 500 Jet.

Minneapolis, Mn, the 3M Corporation has granted Rocky Mountain Sport Jets(a 3M aerospace Distributor) permission to apply its protective film on the exterior components of the Eclipse Jet. These areas include, Radome(nose cone), painted leading edges of the wings and vertical stabilizer and nav/landing lights.
